Asatho maa sadgamaya
Thamaso maa jyothir gamaya
Mrityour maa amritham gamaya

Deepawali is a Hindu festival popularly known as the festival of lights. It falls on the last day of the waning Moon after the Dushhera. On this day Lakshmi and Ganesh are worshipped for wealth and prosperity.
